Well Well Well
This project was part of a travel studio to Japan. There were three architecture students in a group of industrial designers. We spent about 10 days in Tokyo and Kyoto. It was an amazing experience. Many business-trip type meetings at companies where we had design workshops. When we returned to Phoenix I was thinking about rain water harvesting during the monsoon season and how to replenish the city’s aquifer water sources. The assignments were about Universal Design and branding identity. I chose to focus on the Rio Salado for my project and designed a park that was like a step well for recharging the aquifers.
